  We had the buffet before we walked up the mountain. They have an a la carte breakfast menu too. The buffet is pretty good value, especially if you want to have a big feed before heading out for the day. Buffet was stocked with full English breakfast, cereal, pastries, fruits and toast. My partner and I each had three plates full. Recommend breakfast for hungry travellers.

  Awful service. I was just there and didn't even try the food. We didn't even get the table water we asked for. My father, sisters and I waited a few minutes to be seat but we didn't mind we had just come of fields and every where else was crowded with families of young children behaving like animals. We sat down and asked for the water while we looked over the menu. A few minutes later a table of four was seated behind us. We had decided on our food and wine which would have total around $200 and waited to be served. 15 mins go by and the table behind us has now been served by two different waiters recieving both their water and wine and the life story of one of the waitresses who has been skiing for fourteen years or since she was fourteen? Charming. After going up to the bar and actually asking could we be served we were then are ignored by two more waiters and nobody even walked over with a jug of water till we are standing and putting our jackets back on. Such poor service that I'm happy to say my family and I will not be coming back to Thredbo as it doesn't live up to the hype and this was just the icing on the cake.
